Produce changes week by week, so we put in with the basics, adding seasonal crops when they’re popping out of the ground.
We have been announcing an imminent price rise since the end of last year. As many of our customers know we have not put up our prices for 3 years. We delayed it to see what effect Brexit might have and because we were too busy growing your lovely veg and living life to think too carefully about money!
However on reviewing our finances and costs, we realised we needed to put up our prices, to come into effect in April, as previously announced. The costs to grow, pack and transport the boxes have all gone up even before we consider the impacts of the protocols we need to implement to help protect everyone from the virus. We also want to ensure people who are packing and delivering your food are properly rewarded and safe.
We are not changing our egg price. We also supply organic eggs from Penbugle Farm. Currently the price is £2.00 for 6 eggs.
